Privacy Policy
How we handle personal data collected through linked-world.com.
1. Who is responsible
The controller for the personal data described here is:
Altrottstraße 31
69190 Walldorf, Germany
Represented by the Executive Board: Wolfgang Wanninger
Email: info@linked-world.com
Full company details are in our Imprint.
2. What we collect and why
We only collect what you type into our forms, plus standard technical data needed to run the site.
| Data | When | Purpose | Legal basis | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Full name, company, country, industry, email, your message | Submitting the Partner Match / Contact form | Matching you with a member partner and following up on your request | Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request before a contract | Until the request is resolved, then up to 24 months for follow-up |
| Company name, HQ country, SAP products offered, team size, contact name, contact email, track record | Submitting the Request Membership form | Reviewing your membership application | Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request before a contract | Up to 24 months after a decision, longer if you become a member |
| Email address, name | After either form is submitted | Sending you a confirmation email | Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request | Not stored beyond the sent message itself |
| Pages visited, device/browser type, approximate location, session duration | Every visit, only if you consent | Understanding how the site is used, improving it | Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent, via our cookie banner | Up to 14 months (Google Analytics default) |
| Server log data (IP address, time, page requested) | Every visit | Delivering the site and keeping it secure | Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in a working, secure site | Short-term, by our hosting provider |
3. Confirmation emails
When you submit a form, we send you a short confirmation email from our own mailbox. This is part of responding to your request, so it does not depend on separate consent. If you no longer want to hear from us about a request you made, email info@linked-world.com and we will stop.
4. Who else sees your data
We use a small number of service providers, each under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). They act only on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
- Airtable Inc. (USA) — stores form submissions so our team can follow up.
- Supabase Inc. (USA) — hosts the database behind our content and application system.
- Vercel Inc. (USA) — hosting for this site.
- Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. — sends confirmation emails on our behalf via our Microsoft 365 mailbox.
- Google Ireland Ltd. — Google Analytics, only if you consent to analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
Beyond these, we share your data only where we are legally required to. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to member partners beyond what is needed to act on a match or application you requested.
Transfers outside the EU
Airtable, Supabase and Vercel are based in the United States, and Microsoft and Google may transfer data to their US operations. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR and, where the provider is certified, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision of 10 July 2023. You should know that US authorities may in principle be able to access data held there, and that legal remedies may be weaker than in the EU.
5. Cookies and tracking
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what data we hold about you and get a copy (Art. 15)
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16)
- have your data deleted (Art. 17)
- have processing restricted (Art. 18)
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
- withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3))
Email info@linked-world.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
7. Complaints
If you think we have handled your data wrongly, please tell us first — we would rather fix it. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is:
Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany
baden-wuerttemberg.datenschutz.de
8. Is any of this required?
You do not have to give us anything. But we cannot match you with a partner or review a membership application without the information the relevant form marks as required. Analytics cookies are never required — declining them changes nothing about using the site or submitting a form.
9. Changes
If we change how this site handles personal data we will update this page and change the date below.
