From October 28 to 31, the LinkedWorld Summit 2025 brought more than 50 leaders and representatives from over 20 countries to Shanghai for four days of collaboration, learning and shared inspiration.
The Summit opened with LinkedWorld CEO Wolfgang Wanninger welcoming participants and looking back on how quickly the alliance has grown since its launch in 2023 at SAP headquarters in Germany. The message was clear: combine local expertise with global collaboration, so members can deliver agile, high-quality SAP services wherever their clients do business.
The first day was an internal working session rather than a showcase. Members exchanged views on business models, long-term growth strategies and innovation around SAP Business One and Cloud ERP, then brought the outcome of each group discussion together to agree on shared priorities.
On the second day, the group moved to SAP Labs China for keynotes and in-depth workshops with SAP leadership and product experts, covering SAP Business One, Cloud ERP and SAP Build. It was a direct look at SAP's product strategy and R&D direction, and a chance for open dialogue between SAP and the partners who take its products to the mid-market.
This year's Summit also welcomed a growing group of independent software vendors whose solutions extend SAP, from cloud infrastructure and retail technology to AI-driven agriculture and automation. For them, the alliance offers a faster route into new markets; for members and their clients, it means a broader portfolio to draw from.
The final day focused on relationships: small-group conversations over tea at the Shanghai Tower, with members moving freely between rooms to talk with peers and SAP colleagues.
LinkedWorld was founded on a simple idea: success multiplies when it is shared. Shanghai renewed that commitment, and the alliance leaves the Summit with a stronger network and a common agenda for the year ahead.
